Terms & Conditions & Legal Disclaimer

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Quick Meals mobile application and related services (the "App"). Quick Meals is operated by Quick Meals (DBA of Zinsworks, LLC) ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Who Can Use the App

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or legal guardian’s consent.

  • You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2. The Service

  • The App helps you discover, save, and manage recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists.

  • We may add, change, or remove features at any time. From time to time, we may offer beta or experimental features that may be unstable or change quickly.

3. Your Content

  • You own your content. You retain all rights to recipes, notes, and other content you create or upload ("User Content").

  • License to us. To operate the App, you grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and otherwise use your User Content solely to provide and improve the App.

  • Your responsibilities. You represent that you have the rights to submit User Content and that it does not infringe others’ rights, violate law, or contain harmful code.

  • We may remove content that violates these Terms or our policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or its security (e.g., load testing, scraping without permission).

  • Upload malicious code or content that is illegal, hateful, or infringes any third‑party rights.

  • Use the App to send spam or unauthorized communications.

5. Accounts; Sign‑In Methods

  • You may sign up with email and password. If enabled, you may sign in with Apple or Google; their terms also apply to your use of those sign‑in methods.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use.

6. Software License

We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non‑commercial use. We (and our licensors) reserve all other rights.

7. App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play:

  • Your use of the App must comply with the store’s terms. The store provider is not responsible for maintenance or support.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the store provider has no warranty obligations or liability with respect to the App. You acknowledge the store provider is a third‑party beneficiary of these Terms.

8. Third‑Party Services & Links

The App may integrate with or link to third‑party services (e.g., authentication providers). We are not responsible for those services. Your use is subject to their terms and policies.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information. Please read it carefully.

10. Payments & Subscriptions

There are currently no paid subscriptions or in‑app purchases. If we introduce paid features later, we will update these Terms and present pricing and additional terms before you are charged.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and may request account deletion within the App (if available) or by contacting us at lauren@zinsworks.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or for other legitimate reasons. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends.

12. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free, or that content will be accurate or meet your needs.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUICK MEALS (DBA OF ZINSWORKS, LLC) AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of $50 or the amounts you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so the above may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quick Meals (DBA of Zinsworks, LLC) and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your User Content or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law; Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Charlotte, NC for any dispute not subject to arbitration, and you waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.
